New Digital Abstractions

I continue to be captivated by the creative possibilities contained in the Procreate app using the iPad and Apple pencil. If this is beginning to sound like an Ad for Apple and Procreate, so be it. I can’t stop trying new things with this set of tools. Combining colors, textures, and shapes in various and free-flowing ways has me mesmerized with creative energy. How long that will last, I don’t know. In the meantime, here are the latest results of my current obsession.

    1. Thanks Theresa. Great to hear from you. I’ve been having a wonderful time putting these images together. They are a combination of layered collage elements and digital painting and drawing. The combinations seem to be endless and I just can’t stop playing with it. Thanks again for writing.

    1. Thanks Shari. I really have been “carried away” and I’m loving every minute of it. Using the iPad and Procreate has opened a deluge of ideas that can be pursued immediately and with much excitement in the process. I hope I can keep it going. It’s really been fun!

  1. I like the combination of the blended backgrounds and and solid lines. I especially like the third one, Flare, where all the colors are blended.

    1. Thanks Donna. “Flare” does have a certain intensity that is different than the others and depends more on textures. I’m glad you like them. Undoubtedly there will be more…
