Latest Abstractions

In the last posting I described my two different approaches to putting these abstract compositions together; textural and geometric. Of course all of the abstractions so far combine both elements but while I’m composing them I do tend to go in one direction or the other. Doing that seems to help in structuring the image and keeping it homogenous.

These latest images are, again, a combination of both approaches. I keep trying to find new ways to create and combine elements. The possibilities seem endless with the tools available and even if I re-use something that was discovered in a previous composition, it may appear very differently in a new context. So the exploration continues.
