Life Drawings / May 8

After spending the last few weeks with pastels, I thought I’d shake things up a bit and do some ballpoint pen and pencil drawing in this week’s life drawing session. Each medium dictates its own approach to figure drawing. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s a good idea to occasionally switch drawing media just to keep things fresh. We followed our usual timing pattern of four short poses of five minutes each followed by three longer poses.
