“Shortest distance between two points…”

As they say in geometry class, the shortest distance between two points is a STRAIGHT LINE. One of the useful attributes of Procreate app for iPad is the ability to create straight lines by holding the stylus (or finger) down when the line is finished. Even if it is very uneven, holding at the end will magically make it perfectly straight. I thought it would be interesting to use this feature while creating these compositions. By designing all of them at a slight diagonal, I hoped to imply motion. The first and third are somewhat “painterly” using brushes that have texture. The second one feels more geometric with hard lines and mostly flat colors for the various shapes.
