As promised, I’m posting more drawings of chairs that we have scattered around our house. The first one of the green kitchen chair was done this morning. The other three were drawn at various times in the past but I thought they would fit in well with this project so they have been added to the collection. MORE TO COME!
An old kitchen chair (set of four) that I bought used before we were married (over 50 years ago). We still use them at our dining table. There’s a braided cushion on each of the chairs. In the background is a peace lily that sits on the floor near our dining table.
A drawing I did in 2014 when we still had our dear cat Toby. She tried out all of the chairs in the house and any other raised surface she could reach (which was just about everywhere)!Another loveseat that’s in our living room. This was done several years ago on two pages of a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Hand Book JournalA rocking chair in our living room. This was done some time ago as a very quick sketch. I went right to inking without using a pencil first and then added watercolor.
I'm a retired musician (oboist) now living in Vermont and exploring various avenues of art, urban sketching, life drawing, block printing and digital abstractions.

Very nice. When you run out of chairs, we’ve set up a couple on the deck.

I’ve already seen them. But I think we’ve got enough to keep me busy for now. Thanks.

You are welcome, Laureen. Soon they will call me “chair-man of the bored”. Glad you found them entertaining.
